Painter with Security Clearance

Key Responsibilities

• Surface preparation: cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming surfaces to prepare for painting.
• Perform painting to include applying paint; varnish; stain; and other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray guns.
• Protect surfaces include covering furniture and woodwork with drop cloths or masking tape to protect them from paint.
• Repair surfaces to include filling cracks and holes with caulk, putty, or plaster.
• Perform equipment maintenance to include cleaning and caring for brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other equipment.
• Prepare scaffolding to include erecting and rigging scaffolds to reach high ceilings or walls.
• Manage inventory to include requesting equipment and supplies and tracking inventory.
• Provide emergency responses to include resolving safety concerns.
• Provide transportation to include transporting tools, equipment, and supplies to the job site.
• Estimate time, materials, and costs.
• Maintain records and reports.
• Deliver excellent customer service both to internal and external customers while working collaboratively to build professional relationships (i.e., Personnel, customers, etc.).
• Identify safety concerns to the Contractor Supervisor and other required stakeholders (i.e., DOD, ARMY, OSHA, ANSI, etc.).
• Assist in maintaining accurate files and provide documentation to the COR as applicable.
• Provide and assist with the required data to the Contractor Supervisor for a monthly report/tracking matrix of all related matters.
• Ensure all administrative functions/paperwork are in order relative to receipt documentation, work orders, or internal paperwork are accomplished on time and in the required format
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite while performing or conducting job duties and be attentive to detail.
• Support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the US ARMY

Required Experience

• Minimum of (5) Years of Residential or Commercial Painting Experience
• High School Diploma/GED
• (Active) CLASS C Driver's License
