Painter (Powdercoat & Sandblasting)

About the Role

The Painter 2 role is responsible for sandblasting, priming, or powder coating trailers. A successful candidate is a self‑motivated multi‑tasker who utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all painting quality levels are met.

Responsibilities

• Operate an electrostatic air sprayer or other hand sprayer in a production environment.
• Prepare trailer surfaces for painting, including sandblasting, priming, and powder coating.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations, including wearing a respirator and paint suit.
• Work as part of a team, follow orders, and complete tasks assigned by the paint lead.
• Operate all equipment required for surface preparation, primer, and topcoat application.
• Clean and maintain all equipment and paint booths.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs or as requested by management.

Requirements

• Must possess the skill set to support a safe working environment.
• Experience with painting, powder coating, and/or sandblasting.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for 10 hours.
• Ability to work in a paint suit and respirator.
• Capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lb.

Schedule

5:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday.
