Painter Night Shift

About the role

Base pay starts at $17.50 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential. Night shift starts at 6:00 pm; hours may vary depending on operations. This position includes potential overtime with shifts ranging from 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on work orders and season.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload painted parts as needed
• Paint parts as needed
• Inspect painted parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely, and without damage
• Provide customer-responsive and efficient manufacturing support activities
• Assist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools, and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities, including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Maintain a steady flow of materials and resources to production workstations
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment
• May be assigned other projects or tasks by the team leader

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• A minimum of one year of related work experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift, overhead crane, yard mule, and side loaders
• Ability to wear PPE equipment, including a fitted respirator
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
• Experience with side forklift, bander, nail gun, overhead crane, saws, stretch wrap machine, and various pneumatic equipment preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Good attitude and team-oriented
• Valid driver’s license
