Painter - Maintenance Tech

About the Role

Join the maintenance team at Lake Seminole Square, an upscale lake-view senior living community. This role focuses on painting and overall maintenance, working closely with a supportive and collaborative team to ensure a clean, beautiful environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and maintenance repair of paint in common areas and residential apartments.
• Conduct routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas, including electrical malfunctions, plumbing fixtures, pipes, fittings, light bulbs, fixtures, doors, and locks.
• Assist in providing initial response for malfunction of residential HVAC equipment, performing resets and simple repairs as necessary.
• Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.
• Complete all work orders in a timely manner with detailed information regarding tasks performed and equipment used.
• Assist other maintenance personnel with projects or repairs, including campus snow removal.
• Maintain proper levels of materials and supplies to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
• Work a reasonable amount of scheduled and "on-call" overtime as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the Supervisor and Director of General Services to ensure effective community operation.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality as outlined in the Attendance policy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• 1-2 years of maintenance experience as a painter/maintenance technician in a residential complex, commercial building, or construction/maintenance setting.
• Vaccination status for MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, flu, and COVID-19 may be required for certain roles.
