Painter II

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing paint surfaces by matching/tinting paint products, inspecting applications for customer satisfaction, and determining appropriate colors through customer consultation.
• Safely operate and maintain various equipment such as compressors, striping machines, sandblasters, spray equipment, and heavy lift equipment (up to 80 feet).
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and properly dispose of hazardous materials.
• Erect scaffolding, staging, ladders, and planks as needed.
• Create and apply graphics and signage layouts, ensuring compliance with DOT, Safety, and ADA requirements.
• Dedicate a portion of time to special projects, including assisting with assigned tasks, providing additional support and training to team members, and participating in meetings, workshops, and training.

Qualifications

• Must have one or more of the following: Graduate of trade school and 3 years’ relevant experience
• Experience: 5 years’ relevant experience
• Other equivalent combination of relevant education or experience
