About the Hotel

The Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star is the social hub for great food, fun, and nightlife, serving as the official hotel of the Dallas Cowboys. This 16-story hotel features 300 guest rooms and suites, along with 24,000 square feet of versatile meeting spaces, including ballrooms, intimate spaces, and an elevated pool deck. Located on a multi-use campus in partnership with the Dallas Cowboys, the city of Frisco, and Frisco Independent School District, the hotel offers restaurants, retail, entertainment venues, and direct access to The Ford Center, a 12,000-seat event center. The campus is anchored by the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and practice facility. Situated 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas and 25 minutes from DFW International and Love Field airports, the hotel provides amenities such as Neighborhood Services restaurant, Charlotte Jones Collection boutique, a lobby coffee and wine bar, and The Edge pool bar and grill.

About the Role

To ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained hotel environment while providing maintenance services to guests in a courteous, professional, and engaging manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all public areas, guest rooms, meeting rooms, and corridors on an ongoing basis, including paint, wallpaper, and plastering.
• Perform preventive maintenance of guest rooms following Omni CARE program guidelines.
• Maintain correct stock/inventory of paint supplies and materials; communicate when replenishment is needed.
• Aid guests in locating other areas of the hotel (walk them to destination if possible).
• Understand Omni's fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuation protocols.
• Familiarize yourself with Omni's systems and procedures.
• Respond to all guest and maintenance requests promptly.
• Assist engineers and mechanics as needed with repairs.
• Keep all work areas clean and organized.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a commercial painter required; hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to brush, roll, spray, and work on different textures.
• Proficiency in patching, floating, and repairing damaged surfaces.
• Experience working with stains, lacquers, varnishes, epoxy, and Bondo.
• Ability to apply caulk.
• Willingness to work based on business and occupancy levels.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact and communicate with hotel guests.

Qualifications

• Ability to move, bend, lift, carry, crawl, squat, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Capability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods or an entire work shift.
