Painter/Finisher

About the role

Ontic is an Industry Leader with 45 years supporting the Aerospace Industry through aircraft technology, parts, and MRO support. We are hiring a Painter/Finisher to join our Creedmoor, NC operation for our weekend shift.

Responsibilities

• Finishes, to include masking, spray painting, conformal coating, piece marking, encapsulation, and chemical finishing
• Lamination stacking, bonding, fluidize bedding, motor impregnation, coil covering, helicoil insertion and other minor assembly
• Remaining flexible to start and stop hot jobs when needed
• Weekend shift Fri/Sat/Sunday 6am-6:30pm

Requirements

• Must be 18 yrs. or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years spray-painting experience required
• Able to read blueprints and follow work instructions/specifications
• Safety conscious and conforms to ES&H requirements

Qualifications

• NADCAP Experience Preferred

Physical requirements

• Finger dexterity
• Hand eye coordination, steady hands, ability to operate shop equipment
• Talking: Able to communicate in English
• Visual ability: Must be able to identify colors and read minimum of 8-point font
• Physical strength: Able to lift 50 lbs. Max
