Painter, Experienced - 2nd Shift

About the role

Pattison ID designs, builds, and maintains physical spaces and facilities for brands that want to use their physical spaces to drive value and impact for customers. We are one of the largest companies in our space, with 8 manufacturing facilities, 5 sales and operations offices, and over 1,000 employees in the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare surfaces (masking, grit blasting or chemical prep)
• Prepare paints. Accurate use of viscosity cups, thickness gauges, and gloss gauges to test makeup of paint and understanding of chemistry mix of compounds is required.
• Clean work area. Knowledgeable in the safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and waste.
• Maintain equipment. Responsible for maintaining paint equipment and troubleshooting.
• Experience in high-end automotive or industrial equipment paint prepping. Sign industry experience preferred.
• Painters’ only – Previous Experience painting in high-end automotive or industrial equipment environments.
• Able to use hand and power tools and equipment.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Required Experience: Previous painting experience in high-end automotive or industrial equipment, 1-2 years required.
• Competencies: May be required to stand for long periods of time, involve some repetitive motions, must be able to lift to 75 pounds, may also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers, ability to be fitted for a respirator, both medically and physically, others as deemed required by company to be safe for your role.
