Painter Crew Leader - Experienced and Customer Focused

About the role

CertaPro Painters of Akron, OH is seeking experienced Paint Crew Leaders to join our team. We are expecting strong growth in 2026 and beyond and serve southern Summit and Portage counties, as well as surrounding areas. This role focuses on leading and delivering paint projects—without the responsibility of finding leads, doing estimates, or chasing down payments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of at least 2 painters on residential and commercial projects
• Ensure efficiency, attention to detail, and high-quality workmanship
• Maintain strong communication and expectation setting with customers and team members
• Complete jobs promptly and professionally

Requirements

• At least 5 years of verifiable painting crew leadership experience
• Existing crew of at least 2 painters
• Hands-on painting and leadership skills
• Physically capable of handling the workload
• Strong customer service focus and communication skills
• Experience with both residential and commercial projects
