About the role

As a Painter, you'll prepare, coat and finish metal and/or other surfaces by operating conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of surfaces.

Schedule

Monday - Friday: 4 pm to 1:30 am

Employees are eligible for various benefits on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials, surfaces and structures for coverage with paint, laminate rubber or other material
• Operate conventional and airless equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of surfaces
• Mix and apply alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, urethane, zinc epoxies and water borne paint systems according to a prescribed formula
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Follow all safety rules and practices

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of industrial experience
• Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment in that area
• Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently
• Regular and predictable attendance
