Responsibilities

• Reads work orders and receives instructions verbally.
• Prepares the surface using methods appropriate to remove dirt, oil, and grease, removing old paint, smoothing cracks, coating, and filling holes.
• Works at heights with no fear.
• Fills cavities and dents with putty to attain a smooth surface.
• Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce the desired color, according to specifications using a paddle or mechanical mixer.
• Applies paint to the surface using a spray gun, brush, and/or roller.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.

Qualifications

• No minimum education requirements.
• 4 years of Journeyman level experience.
• NCCER certification preferred but not required.
• A Valid Driver’s License.
