Painter 3rd shift Statesville 10pm to 6:30am

Responsibilities

• Applies paint powder to all parts that pass through the paint booth using established methods and procedures, ensuring paint quality is maintained.
• Performs preventative maintenance of paint booths to ensure continuous and consistent operation.
• Operates and maintains set parameters for the cure oven.
• Keeps work area clean to maintain equipment and ensure safety.
• Assists in reworking of parts.
• Completes ISO checklists.
• Performs duties safely and efficiently in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Performs overtime work as required.
• Assists in the instruction and training of others as requested by the supervisor.

Education & Qualification

High School Diploma or equivalent (certificate or diploma accepted).

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly.
• Capability to work under time pressure and for extended periods to meet build requirements.
• Effective written and verbal communication with supervisors and fellow workers, at a level typically acquired through high school or equivalent.
• Job‑specific skills, techniques, and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on‑the‑job and classroom training.
• General instructions are provided for recurring duties; detailed instructions are given for new duties or assignments.

Experience

0–2 years of relevant experience.

Travel

Standard travel less than 10%.
