Mitchell, SD | Full-Time | 2nd Shift (2PM–10PM, Monday - Friday)

About the Role

The Painter supports the production team by applying powder coating to coolers using specialized equipment and following detailed work order instructions. This role helps ensure products meet quality standards and production goals while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• 1 year of manufacturing experience; prior powder coating experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand detailed work orders and instructions.

What You’ll Do

• Use powder coating equipment to paint coolers according to company guidelines.
• Use computer programs to retrieve cooler information when paperwork is missing or incomplete.
• Manually or with a chain hoist unload coolers from skids and hang them on the paint line.
• Monitor powder levels in the coating machine and refill as needed.
• Remove coolers from the paint line after the coating process is complete.
• Inspect finished coolers for quality and touch up untreated areas if needed.
• Add plugs or package coolers according to work order instructions.
• Meet daily production goals provided by the Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Report issues or concerns to the Supervisor or appropriate team members promptly.
• Follow all policies and Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to 100% of the shift).
• Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (35% of the time).
• Ability to operate a chain hoist.
• Ability to wear a respirator when required.
