Painter - 1st Shift (Transformers)

About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Painter - 1st Shift (Transformers).

The hourly rate for this position is $26.20 per hour. The hours for this shift are 7am - 3pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all surfaces to be sprayed by sanding, feather edging of previously painted surfaces, and adjusting and checking pump pressures, heater temperatures, air and fluid pressures.
• Check the Bills of Material for correct color and specified mil thickness.
• Change filters and maintain cleanliness of spray booth and associate floor areas on a scheduled basis.
• Use crane to move units into spray booth and store repainted units in staging area for inspection.
• Cross train and perform duties in other work areas of the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of six (6) months previous spray-painting experience.
• Minimum of six (6) months previous manufacturing experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship.

Skills

• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
