Painter - 1st Shift (Starting $20+/hour)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares product prior to paint application.
• Prepares paint equipment as required.
• Paints product per job instructions.
• Makes adjustments to machine as needed to maintain good quality and production.
• Affords assistance in cleaning of paint booths.
• Handles paint, paint related materials and paint related hazardous wastes properly.
• Performs other assigned duties.

Key Skills And Competencies

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Use of a ladder.
• Wearing a paint respirator.
• Working with solvents such as acetone, MAK, isopropanol alcohol, isocyanates (catalysts/hardeners) and other paint related materials.
• Wearing all required PPE (personal protective equipment) for the area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work with solvents such as acetone, MAK, isopropanol alcohol, isocyanates (catalysts/hardeners) and other paint related materials.
• Must wear all required PPE (personal protective equipment) for the area.

Education And Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Conditions/Other Work Hours/Status

• 1st shift: Monday - Thursday 5am – 3pm.
• 2nd shift: Monday - Thursday 3pm - 1am with a shift differential of $3.00/hr.
• Weekend shift: Friday – Sunday 6am-6pm for a total of 36 hours and added weekend shift differential of $4.50/hr.
