Essential Functions

• Mix and measure paint per specifications.
• Review work order and confirm mixed paint and part match, prior to painting in booth.
• Clean parts as per specification.
• Paint part according to specification and thickness.
• Keep paint booth filters changed, booth FOD free and complete paperwork.
• Post paint inspection of parts for appearance and proper coverage.
• Able to paint effectively on different surfaces and metals.
• Able to apply some advanced skills to adapt and meet complex or non-routine situations.
• Observe safety regulations and wear protective masks and clothing during spray painting operations.
• Complete the paint daily checklist.
• Properly utilize all PPE required under OSHA Guidelines.
• Maintain all paint equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Preferred
• Experience: 1 plus years of experience in Aircraft Painting: Preferred

• WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in shop conditions and can be more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
