Paint Technician

Responsibilities

• Performs all refinish work according to specs.
• Matches colors of paint following specified color charts.
• Communicates vehicles’ stage in paint process.
• Maintains painting operations to identify and correct flaws such as blisters or streaks.
• Mixes paints to match color specifications or vehicles' original colors, using spatulas or power mixing equipment.
• Fulfills OEM standards for blending formulas, topcoat application, and curing.
• Applies designs, lettering, or other identifying decorative items to finished products using paint brushes or paint sprayers.
• Verifies paint consistency.
• Lays out logos, symbols, or designs on painted surfaces according to blueprint specifications using measuring instruments, stencils, or patterns.

Qualifications

• Certifications in paint procedures
• I-CAR certifications
• Prior refinish experience
• Ability to receive and give direction
• Reliable work history
• Passes thorough background check

Pay

The actual offer will be based on various factors, including but not limited to: job related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant certifications and qualifications. The posted min pay rate is USD $75,000.00/Yr. and the max pay rate is USD $172,965.00/Yr.
