What You Bring

You have experience with preparation and painting aircraft or an equivalent background (preferred).

How to Thrive in This Role

• Adhere to General Work Requirements
• Read engineering drawings to identify tasks
• Apply safety absorbent to hangar floor and spray aircraft surface with stripper
• Mask, unmask, and re-mask appropriate areas of aircraft surface
• Remove stripper, excess paint, and/or contaminants
• Sand, grind, and buff polished areas of aircraft surface
• Apply putty to body dents and replace sealer
• Apply Alodine to aircraft surface using spray equipment
• Document work performed per Inspection Procedures Manual (IPM)
• Perform touch-up work as required
• Assist with moving aircraft to appropriate bay
• Assist other employees in the performance of their duties
