About the role
The Paint shop Assistant is responsible for ensuring company units are prepared for painting to the required company standard. Reporting to the Depot Manager, the role involves liaising with painters, valeters, and yard operatives.
Responsibilities
- To ensure the exterior of the Units are clean prior to commencing work.
- To fill, sand down and prepare bodywork.
- To carry out quality checks.
- To maintain required stock levels of all paint and preparation products via the Depot Manager.
- To ensure adherence to the company's health and safety policy and procedures in relation to all depot operations.
- To follow company's Employee handbook policies and procedures.
- To perform any other duties requested by the Depot Manager.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- A good understanding of the importance of excellent service.
- An attention to detail.
- Excellent time keeping & attendance.
- Ability to work alone or as a team.
