Job Summary
Visually inspect metal parts for previous damage.
Visually inspect parts and paperwork to ensure prior steps are complete.
Clean, mask, plug, and fixture components prior to paint and powder coat application.
Work with others to prep parts properly.
Maintain equipment and keep the work area in order.
Operate batch ovens according to work order specifications.
Inspect parts after the coating is complete.
Unmask, unplug, and package components as needed.
Complete all paperwork accordingly.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a paint shop is a plus.
Perform basic math calculations.
Forklift experience is a plus.
Possess strong attention to detail.
Must be able to use hands to position parts in place.
Bend and lift, loading and unloading work pieces onto pallets, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing.
Lift objects up to 50 pounds above head throughout the day.

Pay
