Paint Mixer

About the role

As a Tinter, you will ensure your tint machine is ready for use, log in to see assigned workloads, and use an electric pallet jack to pull paint bases from the warehouse. You will follow computer-generated formulas to tint paint to exact customer specifications, verify color accuracy, complete paperwork (including printing bills of lading), wrap pallets, and move them to designated shipping locations.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work orders precisely.
• Operate tint machines to mix paint according to formulas.
• Verify tinted colors match customer selections.
• Use an electric pallet jack to move paint bases and finished products.
• Complete paperwork, including printing bills of lading (BOL).
• Wrap pallets and transport them to shipping preparation areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Wear safety glasses while tinting.

Requirements

• Ability to see color and notice minor color differences.
• Excellent attendance record; reliability is critical.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
• Physical ability to stand for entire shifts and lift up to 75 pounds (individual cans or cases of 4 cans) multiple times per day.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to maintain quality in a fast-paced, repetitive environment.
• Desire to learn and grow; potential for career advancement within the company.

Pay

Hiring range: $19.50 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and skills.

Schedule

Full-time. Shift 2 (starts at or after 12 PM).
