Paint Lead 2nd Shift

About the role

Under the direction of the Production Manager, the lead directs and manages paint assembly operations for the 2nd shift at the Sumner, Texas PJ facility. This role maintains all safety, quality, and production standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Schedule

Monday through Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM. Overtime on Friday and Saturday as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate paint line activities with the Manager to ensure 2nd shift paint line objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Monitor performance for production and quality standards.
• Promote a positive safety culture at all times.
• Provide direction and leadership to hourly personnel (approximately 5-15 employees).
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing efforts and initiatives.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of production supervisor experience.
• Experience managing 5-15 employees.
• Focus on customers' expectations, problem prevention, and continuous improvement to drive better results for themselves, customers, and other employees.
• Exercise continuous leadership to align plant efforts with priorities.
