About the Role
MPS Group Inc. is seeking a Paint Booth Cleaner Supervisor to join our team at Ford Louisville Assembly Plant in Louisville, KY. This individual will be responsible for the safety of personnel and subcontractors, the quality of work, and managing routine sanitation/janitorial cleaning and out-of-scope industrial cleaning operations at the host facility.
Shift Details
Shift: 3rd Shift
Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday, 7:00 p.m. - 5:30 a.m.
Responsibilities
- Develops Task Instruction Sheets (TIS) and reviews these safety documents with the crew routinely, evaluating safety hazards, and determining and enforcing precautions, procedures, and PPE.
- Evaluates and counsels employees on quality and safety.
- Provides direction, equipment, small tools, materials, and supplies to support the crew.
- Acts as a customer/client liaison.
- Prepares and submits job reports as directed by the site manager, director, and/or customer.
- Makes recommendations on equipment purchases, personnel needs, equipment maintenance, etc.
- Receives and stows materials and supplies.
- Inspects equipment and small tools to ensure proper working condition, red-tagging and pulling out of service items that are damaged, broken, or malfunctioning.
- Conducts site inspections and Safety Tours, including Mod Audits, Prime Booth Audits, Conveyor Audits, etc.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One year of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of all equipment used on the job site, personal protective equipment, safety supplies, policies, and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently for workplace communication and safety compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Six months of industrial-related experience.
