Key Responsibilities
- Inspect damaged RVs and assess the extent of repairs needed.
- Repair RV body damage using various tools and materials such as hammers, grinders, and welding equipment.
- Replace or repair damaged RV parts such as windows, doors, and trim.
- Sand, prime, and paint repaired areas to match the rest of the RV's finish.
- Test repaired systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Maintain and clean tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in RV or automotive body repair preferred.
- Knowledge of different types of RV body construction.
- Skilled in using various tools and materials such as hammers, grinders, and welding equipment.
- Knowledge of paint mixing and matching techniques.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods of time.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
Working Conditions
- Work is primarily conducted on-site at the service shop.
- May require extended periods of standing, walking, and bending.
- May require lifting or moving heavy equipment or objects.
- May require working in tight spaces or at heights.
- May require exposure to loud noises, fumes, or chemicals.
- May require working weekends or holidays.
