This position involves providing direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role promotes patient and family-centered care, educating patients on managing their illness, medication administration, and post-treatment needs. It requires participation in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, as well as professional development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
• Engage in critical nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and promote a healing environment.

Qualifications

• Required: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree, RN license, no prior experience necessary.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• Safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.

Schedule

The role may start as PRN with potential to transition to full-time, approximately 15 hours weekly, working Tuesday through Friday with varying clinic and procedure schedules.
