Department Job Description Summary

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and treating outpatients in the setting of a Comprehensive NeuroScience center of excellence.
• Complementing a team of Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Interventional Neuroradiologists and Physiatrists by providing longitudinal care and management of neuropharmacologic and psychodynamic aspects of acute, subacute, and chronic pain syndromes.
• Rendering some care in an inpatient setting should clinical circumstances warrant.
• Participating in the design and implementation of the Comprehensive NeuroScience Center.

Requirements

• Have completed fellowship training in a pain management related specialty such as anesthesia, neurology, psychiatry, physiatry or addiction medicine.
• Be trained and comfortable with diagnosing and rendering care of neuropharmacologic and psychodynamic aspects of acute, subacute, and chronic pain syndromes.
• BE/BC with excellent clinical training in anesthesia, neurology, psychiatry or addiction medicine.
• Be an adaptable colleague interested in joining our NeuroScience team, building the group practice and becoming active in our community.
