About the role

Ziff Davis Shopping is looking for a Paid Social Creative Strategist to join their team. This role bridges the gap between affiliate content and the end consumer, blending creative intuition, consumer psychology, and AI-powered tools to build ads and landing pages that scale.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deploy ad creative at scale to drastically increase the volume and variety of ad creative testing.
  • Own the narrative and visual flow of custom-built landing pages, applying deep knowledge of online shopping trends and consumer behavior to create content that sells.
  • Develop and present campaign concepts that align with affiliate goals and consumer purchase intent, leading the "creative audit" process to identify competitive advantages.
  • Use data from the Paid Social Specialist to "kill" underperforming creative and double down on winners, constantly testing new headlines, page layouts, and AI-generated hooks to improve conversion rates and click-through rates.
  • Participate in a daily data-sharing session with the Paid Social Specialist, merging technical tracking insights with creative "winning" formats to build a robust testing roadmap.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2–3 years in digital creative production, performance design, or content marketing, with a focus on e-commerce and direct-response results.
  • AI & Tech Fluency: Proficiency in the modern AI creative stack (e.g., Midjourney, ChatGPT for copy, or AI video tools).
  • Landing Page Mastery: Proven ability to build and curate high-converting landing pages, understanding the "architecture of a sale."
  • Direct Response Expertise: Deep understanding of what drives a user to click and buy, framing products in an affiliate context to maximize trust and intent.
  • Production Tools: Hands-on experience with WYSIWYG design/video tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, or internal CMS builders) and familiarity with AI tools that help scale production.
  • Affiliate & Retail Knowledge: Familiarity with the affiliate marketing ecosystem and the seasonal cycles of the e-commerce industry.

Pay

The salary compensation for this role is $70,000 to $80,000. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.
