About the Opportunity

The Paid Search Ads Manager is responsible for independently owning and scaling the paid search channel to drive efficient customer acquisition within the Growth team. This role ensures performance optimization, measurement accuracy, and strategic reporting, contributing directly to reducing customer acquisition costs and enhancing conversion rates. The position involves managing large budgets and advancing the channel through data-driven decisions and innovative use of AI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize paid acquisition campaigns across Google Search, Performance Max, YouTube, Shopping, Display, Demand Gen, and Microsoft/Bing Ads.
  • Ensure pacing, budget allocation, and performance meet growth and profitability targets.
  • Launch and optimize campaigns focused on lowering customer acquisition cost and improving conversion rate.
  • Explore and scale emerging acquisition opportunities across AI-driven search platforms and other relevant channels.
  • Perform keyword, audience, bidding, feed, and landing page optimizations.
  • Develop ad copy and messaging strategies informed by data and market trends.
  • Analyze campaign and funnel performance to identify insights and optimization opportunities.
  • Build and present performance reports that communicate channel health and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align media strategy with acquisition and growth goals.
  • Continuously test bidding strategies, audience targeting, creative, landing pages, and campaign structure.
  • Use AI tools to improve workflows, creative ideation, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain the technical health and measurement integrity of paid search tracking and attribution.
  • Partner with analytics, engineering, and product teams to ensure accurate tracking and measurement.
  • Audit tracking infrastructure and campaign setup to resolve performance issues.
  • Analyze user behavior through various tools to understand the customer journey.
  • Monitor attribution trends and platform changes to maintain measurement accuracy.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience managing Search Ads campaigns at scale with accountability for large budgets.
  • Deep expertise in Search, Performance Max, Shopping, YouTube, and Demand Gen campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills to convert raw data into actionable insights independently.
  • Proven ability to scale customer acquisition efficiently while improving acquisition cost and conversion rate.
