About the role

CMP is seeking PhD-qualified researchers, scientists, scholars, and academics to contribute to the editorial and strategic direction of its publications.

Responsibilities

• Review submissions for academic quality, originality, and relevance.
• Provide detailed and constructive peer-review feedback.
• Complete reviews within the timelines and policies established by the journal.
• Suggest themes for special issues and editorial focus areas.
• Recommend qualified reviewers and contributors.
• Share subject-matter insights to help shape the journal's research direction.
• Uphold best practices in academic publishing and research ethics.
• Identify potential plagiarism, conflicts of interest, and other ethical issues.
• Support transparency and academic integrity throughout the review process.
• Represent the journal at relevant academic platforms where feasible.
• Promote journal visibility within your institution and scholarly network.
• Attend periodic editorial board meetings.
• Provide recommendations for editorial processes and impact growth.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant academic field.
• Strong record of peer-reviewed publications.
• Prior experience as a reviewer or editorial board member preferred.
• Commitment to ethical and high-quality editorial standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
