Paid Media Specialist

Role and Company Overview

Responsibilities

• Partner with Digital Specialists and Strategists to execute and manage paid digital campaigns across multiple client accounts
• Build, update, and maintain campaigns in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Microsoft Advertising, and other agency platforms
• Monitor campaign pacing, spend, delivery, and performance against established objectives
• Recognize unusual results or emerging risks and communicate findings to the appropriate strategist promptly
• Complete defined campaign optimizations with strategist guidance
• Conduct keyword, audience, competitor, and pre-campaign research
• Upload and quality-check campaign creative, budgets, targeting, naming conventions, URLs, bidding settings, and tracking parameters
• Create, implement, and test UTM parameters, conversion events, pixels, tags, and related measurement elements
• Aid with Google Tag Manager and GA4 implementation, validation, and troubleshooting
• Use AI tools appropriately to improve research, reporting, campaign production, and internal workflows
• Maintain accurate records of campaign setup, approvals, technical configurations, and changes
• Communicate status, questions, mistakes, and emerging risks clearly and on time

Requirements

• 3 +years of hands-on experience building, managing, or optimizing paid digital advertising campaigns
• Practical Google Ads experience including campaign structure, keyword research, setup, monitoring, and performance metrics — coursework or certifications alone do not satisfy this requirement
• Hands-on paid campaign experience in Meta Ads Manager — organic social management or boosted posts alone do not satisfy this requirement
• Working knowledge of campaign budgets, pacing, and core performance metrics (impressions, CTR, CPC, CVR, CPA, ROAS)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, on-time work
• Ability to recognize when data, tracking, or campaign performance looks off and persist in investigating the cause
• Ability to manage work across multiple clients and concurrent deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
• Collaborative working style within established strategies, processes, and review procedures
