Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age (or meet state requirements)
- Compassionate, dependable, and eager to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen
Responsibilities During Training
- Learn the fundamentals of resident care
- Assist residents with activities of daily living under supervision
- Learn infection prevention and safety procedures
- Develop communication and customer service skills
- Observe and report changes in resident condition
- Practice proper documentation techniques
- Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and respect
- Successfully complete all classroom and clinical requirements
