PAF Operator (Collar Machine)

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts visually for defects.
• Use Ohm to ensure collars meet quality standards.
• Trim parts as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Report all product and machine problems to Technicians or Lead.
• Report parts that may need to be scrapped to the Lead or QC Technician for confirmation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read and follow specifications to mold required parts.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to work with minimum direction.
• Ability to identify different materials and products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-change environment.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to machine noise.
• Typical office/factory environment with possible exposure to heat in the production area.
• Normal conditions for a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Work may involve lifting materials and products up to 50 pounds and working near heavy equipment.
• Requires the use of safety equipment, including eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots.
• May require walking in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
