Pad Probing Prep Technician

About the role

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Locate and retrieve required samples for processing.
• Generate a site list for testing and analysis.
• Identify and apply the appropriate recipe for each job.
• Perform test site runs to verify tool performance and calibration.
• Execute the defined recipe to ensure accurate processing.
• Utilize basic knowledge of Focused Ion Beam (FIB) sample preparation to support operations.
• Follow and document processing in lab systems per BKM.
• Compare images to CAD layout to look for anomalies, identify locations, and take appropriate action.
• Communicate with team.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in the STEM field plus 2 years of experience working in a lab environment.
• Hands-on analytical tool experience including SEM, Transmission Electron Microscopy and/or beam based tools.
• Basic knowledge of Semiconductors.
• Testing of tools and equipment for performance and optimization for future operations.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong proactive communications skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Using Focused Ion Beams (FIB) for sample preparation.
• Metrology data processing and statistical analysis.
• Understanding of device physics and circuits.
• Ability to prioritize to enable multitasking (run more than one job at a time).
