Supportive team and management Comprehensive benefits Matching 401K PTO Growth potential Job Details Schedule & Work Environment: Full-time position (M-F, 5x8s)No weekendsNo on-call rotationCollaborative, professional ambulatory surgery environment Position Overview: The Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care to patients throughout the pre-operative and post-anesthesia recovery phases of their surgical experience. This role will also rotate into the procedure room to support pain management cases.The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in perioperative nursing, post-anesthesia recovery, pain management, and patient education, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical setting. Qualifications: Current, unrestricted Connecticut RN licensePACU or critical care nursing experience requiredAmbulatory surgery center experience is a plusStrong clinical knowledge and skills relevant to pre-op and PACU nursingWillingness and ability to learn procedure-room RN responsibilitiesCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationsASPAN/CAPA certification preferredKnowledge of aseptic technique, anesthetic agents, potential complications, and emergency responseStrong communication and interpersonal skills Interested in hearing more?
