About the role
The PACU Clinical Nurse Coordinator is responsible for leading post-anesthesia care in a high-acuity setting.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate PACU staffing, patient flow, and clinical quality to ensure safe recovery from anesthesia.
- Monitor patients closely, manage pain, and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Mentor nursing staff and support the implementation of evidence-based practices.
