PACT Housing Specialist ,

Responsibilities

• Works as part of a multi-disciplinary PACT team
• Provides community-based treatment and skills training to persons with serious mental illness
• Identifies, locates, and secures housing for individuals with mental illness
• Works closely with state psychiatric hospitals to facilitate discharges of individuals into the community

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) in a behavioral health related field
• Minimum of 2 years working with mentally ill population OR a Master’s degree and 1 year post-bachelor’s experience
• Experience in housing options for difficult to place individuals preferred
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history
