PACT Community Based Therapist Internship
About the role
This Community Based Therapist Internship in our Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) in Olympia is for current Master level students in their MSW, MA, or MS programs. PACT is a statewide program that follows the nationwide evidence-based model of ACT, or Assertive Community Treatment.
Responsibilities
- Work with a diverse adult population in the office and out in the community
- Meet with clients in person or via telehealth for outpatient mental health appointments
- Gain experience using Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs)
- Gain experience staffing cases
- Navigate electronic health records
- Receive weekly supervision as well as bi-weekly group supervision from Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSWs), and Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs)
Requirements
This is an unpaid internship. Behavioral Health Resources will pay for any required credentialing expenditures and will reimburse for mileage.
Qualifications
- Current Master level students in their MSW, MA, or MS programs
- Experience with the evidence-based model of ACT (Assertive Community Treatment)
- Ability to work with a diverse adult population
- Proficiency in using electronic health records
