Packing Operator, Manufacturing (6:00am-6:30pm, Friday-Sunday) - $23.40/hr.
Supports production operations by setting up workstations with required products and packaging materials.
Responsibilities
- Rotate through tasks including operating bagger and debagger stations, setting up and operating label machines while monitoring barcoding systems, and overseeing tray packaging machines.
- Complete changeovers safely and efficiently.
- Visually monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles.
- Perform quality inspections and verify sample compliance with specifications.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and ensure compliance with food safety and quality system requirements.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace according to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain communication with departments, management, and associates; promptly report any issues or concerns that could hinder production efficiency.
- Immediately report any food safety or quality issues to management.
- Apply a continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities for process enhancement.
- Record production and/or quality data.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $21.90 - $27.40. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
