About the role
The primary function of a packer is to take product from bulk containers and pack into individual containers. Packers will read and follow work orders, attach labels to individual containers, use and maintain tape machines and weight scales, and post production on the DSI computer system. Completed orders are pushed onto the conveyor. In some cases, packers will pick parts from primary bulk locations to fill orders. At the end of each shift, packers clean workstations and sweep floors.
