Packer (Night Shift) 12 Hours

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
• Inspect product to ensure quality; set aside product that is below quality standards
• Work closely with Team Leader and alert Mold Tech and Supervisor of any quality issues or reject conditions
• Monitor molds for irregularities or sticking; respond promptly to quality issues
• Complete assembly of product by installing gaskets in lids and handles in containers while keeping up with production machine cycles
• Flame containers and lids when required
• Stack and pack product per customer and order-specific instructions
• Prepare proper product identification and/or packaging labels
• Assist with material handling and other tasks as needed
• During production interruptions, clean up oil, sweep, mop, make boxes, or perform other assigned tasks
• Accurately complete any required paperwork
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous production experience a plus but not required
• Ability to keep up with fast-paced production cycles
• Agility and consistent attention to detail
• Ability to tolerate constant repetition
• Capable of sitting or standing for long periods of time at some workstations
• Frequent lifting, bending, and reaching to perform necessary job functions
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds safely
• Ability to identify alphanumeric product codes

Pay

Starting pay: $18.00 per hour, increasing to $19.00 per hour after 90 days with a successful performance evaluation.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• 2 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
• Paid lunch breaks
