About the Role
Pack quality products by performing concise visual inspection for defects listed on the provided quality card. Arrive on time daily, perform the job safely and efficiently, and be accountable for parts packed. Meet daily production volume expectations and pack parts into boxes according to quality specifications.
Responsibilities
- Pick, inspect, and pack quality parts into boxes on the assigned line.
- Accurately count parts to ensure consistent, quality product delivery to customers.
- Bag counted parts and place them into the correct box on the assigned production line.
- Ensure each box is properly sealed to minimize potential damage.
- Verify proper date codes and labels are on all boxes being placed on skids.
- Keep pace with the machine speed to avoid packable parts falling into the scrap bin or deliberately scrapping them.
- Assist with grinding when the machine is down and as time permits.
- Support the machine operator as needed.
- Stay until the end of the shift to ensure the area is completely clean and ready for the next shift.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area; report unsafe conditions to the operator and/or supervisor.
- Adhere to safety policies and maintain good housekeeping in the packing area at all times.
- Wear all required safety gear, including hairnets/hats, gloves, and company-issued hard hats when cleaning inside machinery.
- Learn and understand nip/pinch point locations on all machines.
- Meet or exceed minimum quality standards for packaged finished goods.
- Report any quality problems immediately to the operator.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for 100% of the day.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to reach and take parts off machines continuously throughout the day.

- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Understanding of differential quality product.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform other related duties as assigned.
