Packer I 1st shift

Essential Functions

• Execute the daily production schedule in the packing area to meet customer orders
• Ensure timely and accurate packaging of product to maintain processing standards
• Adhere to the allergen control program guidelines, including equipment cleaning and verification activities
• Take corrective action as assigned by the Supervisor based on pre-operation and daily self-assessment audit findings
• Investigate issues, find root causes, and develop solutions for issues that arise in the packing area
• Resolve food safety and quality deficiencies

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Food manufacturing experience desired
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication with peers and leadership
• Ability to work cross-functionally, convey equipment issues, and maintain confidentiality
• Quick thinking and handling frequent change
• Detail oriented with the ability to organize and multitask
• Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven, and capable of working independently with little supervision
• Willingness to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays based on business need

Pay and Benefits

• Hourly range: $17.50 to $19.00 per hour
