Packer

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe organized working environment
• Absorb and assist in reviewing outgoing shipping documents and package product
• Absorb and assist in inspections of product orders for accuracy
• Absorb and assist in loading/unloading packages from trucks
• Report product discrepancies to management
• Actively communicate with teammates
• Operate forklifts to relocate material
• Perform other operations tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of manufacturing industries preferred
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Strong attention to detail (critical skill)
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers and management
• Ability to work as part of a team and offer assistance to teammates when necessary
• Ability to work flexible hours as required by the position
