Job Description

Packers are responsible for safely and effectively packing finished goods and preparing product for shipment. Key responsibilities include:

• Supports the operations team by feeding material into machines, inspecting product for defects, and packing finished goods.
• Performs quality checks and ensures correct counts on various product sizes.
• Makes minor machine adjustments to maintain product quality.
• Replaces adhesive tape in hand tapers and automatic sealing machinery.
• Ensures identification labels are present and properly placed.
• Stacks finished product in the correct configuration, ready for transportation.
• Maintains good housekeeping and ensures areas of responsibility are safe, clean, and tidy.
• Reports any issues concerning health and safety, hygiene, quality, or efficiency to supervisor promptly.
• Fulfills all company-established rules and policies, adhering to safety regulations.
• Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred. Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team and follow standard work instructions is required.
