Position Description

Position Purpose: Packs boxes and prepares product for shipment

Principal Accountabilities:

• Removes finished products from the machine
• Places product labels
• Packs item in bags and cartons
• Puts finished product in proper location as per specifications
• Performs advanced quality checks
• Effectively communicates with operator and supervisor to ensure that finished products are made to required quality specifications
• Aids in the proper and effective operation of the machinery
• Willing to assist in other areas of the plant, including to cover lunches and breaks as required
• Works in a safety first mentality and with utilization of IPS lean manufacturing skills

Essential Skills And Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• Intermediate math skills and English written communication skills necessary
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours at a time required
• Ability to work in space limited work area on continuous basis
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
