About the role
Packers at Novolex are responsible for understanding and following all JSA’s and safety procedures/policies. They constantly inspect finished product before packing into cartons and notify the bag line operator of any quality issues. Packers weigh and number cases, fill out proper documentation, stack product on pallets, assist in roll changes, check safety guards, perform quality checks, and complete related documentation. They also maintain a clean and safe work area and assist the converting operator as needed.
Responsibilities
- Understand and follow all JSA’s and safety procedures/policies
- Constantly inspects finished product before it is packed into carton and notifies bag line operator of quality issues
- Weighs and numbers cases, fills out proper documentation
- Stacks finished product on pallet evenly and correctly
- Affords assistance to Converting Operator in all roll changes
- Checks all safety guards are in place and properly working at their station
- Performs quality checks and completes related documentation
- Maintains a clean and safe work area
- Affords assistance to Converting Operator as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation

Pay
$18.00 per hour
Schedule
Available Shift: 12 hour swing shifts - 1 month
Shifts: 7:00am-7:00pm, rotating first Monday every other month to 7:00pm-7:00am
