About the role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Packer is responsible for processing the highest quality of fresh fish to fulfil customer orders. Additionally, this individual is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and efficient work area.

Responsibilities

• Set up work area
• Arrange packing materials
• Make boxes
• Process product on designated machines (place fish on container, apply sticker, and place product into shipping boxes)
• Place processed product into transport containers and move to the packing station
• Follow Production Supervisor’s instructions for product specifications and next assignments
• Clean and sanitize tables, sinks, cutting boards, drains, curtains, floors, scales, etc. as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year factory-related experience preferred

Work Environment

• Work performed in a refrigerated/cold environment
• Standing for long hours

Schedule

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (overtime and weekends likely)
