Packer 1st Shift

Hours are 7:00AM-3:30PM (OT/ Weekends likely). Address: 6800 Santa Fe Drive (Suite L), Hodgkins, IL 60525 Summary: Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Packer is responsible for processing the highest quality of fresh fish to fulfil customer orders. Additionally, this individual is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and efficient work area. Duties and Responsibilities: Set up work areaArrange packing materialsMakes boxes Production Supervisor will assign what items are to be packed and what quantities.Process product on designated machines (places fish on container, putting sticker, and placing product into shipping boxes).Place processed product into transport containers and then into transport cart and move it to the packing station.When completed the Production supervisor will instruct the next assignment.Production Supervisor will also give instructions as to the specification of the productCleaning and Sanitizing (if instructed by Production Supervisor)Tables, sinks, cutting boards, drains, curtains, floors, scales, etc.Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum Of 1 Year Factory Related Experience Preferred. Work Environment: Work performed in a refrigerated/cold environment Standing for long hours
