Description
The Packer (1st shift) is responsible for packing boxes of product according to specified numbers per box; visually inspect the product to assure that a good quality product is shipped; may use gauges and scales to inspect the product; make labels and assure proper labeling with correct item, quantity, description, etc.; ensure all boxes have been sealed and that the appropriate label has been applied; prepare pallets of box product to be sent to shipping.
Responsibilities
- Pack boxes of product according to specified numbers per box.
- Visually inspect the product to assure that a good quality product is shipped.
Requirements
- Constant standing and walking (up to 10 hours per day).
- Repetitive use of both hands (up to 10 hours per day).
- Repetitive reaching at and above shoulder level and bending at the waist.
- Ability to lift boxes and product weighing up to 50 lb.
- Ability to bend, stoop and twist.
- Ability to utilize a computer.
- Ability to read scales and gauges.
- Ability to detect defects in product.

Pay
$16.30 per hour.
Schedule
Monday – Friday; 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
