Valence Surface Technologies production operates 24 hours per day. Shifts are available as follows:

Schedule

• 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (+10% shift differential)
• 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (+15% shift differential)
• 4th Shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Pay

$20.77 per hour. Shift differentials apply: +10% for 2nd shift, +15% for 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specifications are met.
• Ensure all documentation is kept with the materials.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Seal containers or materials using stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materials.
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools.
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
• Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific tasks.
• Ensure integrity of parts after processing (check for damage, scratches, etc.).
• Visually inspect parts to ensure the process has been completed correctly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).

Work Environment

Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Due to the manufacturing environment, Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) may be required, including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and a respirator (provided by the company).
