Packer 1 (2nd Shift)
Job Summary
Responsible for packaging parts for shipment/transport. Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met.
Ensure that all documentation is kept with the materials.
Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
Seal containers or materials, using stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materials.
Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools.
Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks.
Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.).
Visually inspect parts to ensure the process has been completed correctly.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Abilities
- Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

- Vision (Near, Distance): Sense of Sound - Able to hear average conversation
- Sense of Touch: Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Safety Glasses
- Standing for long periods of time
